“…with liberty and Justice for all” these words ring true for all Americans, but what about the church? Should the church care about justice? If so, what justice are we talking about? It seems that at moments of despair and depravity the church is called on to take a stance, while at other times it is called on to just stay quiet if our tones become too offensive for some. History has seen the church make stances and not stand down because our resolve was sure, but recently what has the church been standing for that hasn’t seen equivocating from many different corners of the Universal church? The guys take up one Elephant in the Pew that might be a very striking conversation: Justice.
